The Quest For Eternal Aether

An installation weaving light and movement in an eternal dance among the aether.

Commissioned for Burning Baer, an annual arts event in Germany, the kinetic installation was created in a subterranean catacomb under a castle close to Berlin. Custom lasers were used alongside a physical build of ever shifting refractive materials to divide the light and send it on a captivating journey, merging back together again before splitting into its base frequencies.

Combined with an emotive musical soundscape, the audience was taken on a journey through the light, allowing them to intersect and evolve.
