Adidas London Marathon Promotion
Realtime sensor data from a treadmill driving visuals and audio, with integrated leaderboard system to promote Adidas new marathon shoe 'Adizero' at the London Marathon
Participants were invited to compete and set a world record marathon pace time over 90s on a treadmill containing a sensor. The data from the sensor was used in a Touchdesigner system to drive visuals on 3 LED walls with an avatar to chase who's distance on screen was dictated by the participants current speed. Real time stats such as speed and distance were shown on screen, and after the run was finished the users score was displayed instantly on a leaderboard and summary screen.
